I baked this fabulous ginger bread yesterday afternoon having jotted down a recipe featured by Jooles on her blog Sew sweet violet. It is the tastiest moistest cake I have ever made! Go on, give it a go! Only problem is I forgot to take a photo of the cake as it came out of the tin (I made a 7" square cake but Jooles used a 2lb loaf tin for hers) so this is it minus one or two test pieces. It's divine.
Drool, drool!
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine what it would taste like with a nice cuppa but even nicer with lots of custard on top!
I love ginger cake, I'm off to have a look!

ReplyDeleteOooh Ginger cake is one of my favourites, think I will hope over for the recipe. Yours looks delicious. I make one with chopped crystalised ginger pieces in which is delicious as a pudding with custard, a real winter warmer.
